September 8th: "Global Insights Into Chinese Enterprises" Event
Recently, the "Global Insights Into Chinese Enterprises" event was held in Xiamen, Fujian. The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, and the China COSCO Shipping Group. During the event, senior diplomats from 15 countries including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Israel, and the Czech Republic, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited XMCH to learn more about the "Heart Sapling" program and the unique strengths of the hospital, and to appreciate the achievements of Xiamen's health industry.
The visiting delegations toured the outpatient department, Cardiovascular Interventional Lab, and the hos

At the Cardiovascular Interventional Lab, President Wang Yan introduced the excellent performance of China's innovative cardiovascular medical devices, some of which have been marketed abroad and received positive reviews. In recent years, XMCH has been involved in the independent research and development of many domestic innovative cardiovascular medical devices. Once these products are launched, they will further reduce medical costs and benefit cardiovascular patients worldwide.
The diplomats commented that XMCH is an internationalized hospital with advanced management concepts, a warm environment, strong technical strength, and strong innovation capabilities. They look forward to future opportunities for international collaboration with XMCH in cardiovascular patient care. They also mentioned that the "Heart Sapling" program is an excellent initiative for international talent development, and they will actively liaise with universities and hospitals in their countries to help select outstanding cardiovascular professionals to participate in the program.
During the China International Fair For Investment & Trade
At this year's China International Fair For Investment & Trade, XMCH participated once again, showcasing domestic cardiovascular innovative medical devices under the theme "Promoting Domestic Innovation and Research and Development, Solving the Bottleneck Challenges". September 13th: Governor's Delegation from Ceará State, Brazil
On the afternoon of September 13th, a delegation led by Governor Elmano de Freitas of Ceará State, Brazil, visited XMCH.
Ceará State has been a friendly province with Fujian for over twenty years. Fortaleza, the state capital of Ceará, recently became an international sister city with Xiamen. Both are port cities and have hosted BRICS leaders' meetings. Promoted by Xiamen's Foreign Affairs Office, XMCH and Hospital Mesana in Fortaleza have held online meetings, and both parties have expressed intentions for further collaboration.
After Governor Freitas's visit to XMCH, he was deeply impressed and shared his insights about XMCH on his personal Twitter, stating his intention to bring China's best medical experiences back to Ceará.
Currently, two cardiovascular doctors from Hospital de Messejana have registered for the "Heart Sapling" visiting scholar program and are set to arrive in Xiamen early next year.
Since its establishment, XMCH has aimed to build a "people-satisfying, internationally top-tier cardiovascular specialty hospital". With the continuous advancement of its technical levels and expanding influence, more and more international friends are seeking health management and treatment services at XMCH. In its future phase-two expansion project, the hospital plans to set up a dedicated international medical service area to better serve international friends.
In this new era, XMCH actively practices global development initiatives, sets the "Xiamen model" for pragmatic cooperation among BRICS nations, establishes the BRICS Cardiovascular Health Innovation Center, and initiates the "Heart Sapling" visiting scholar program, continuously strengthening international cooperation and exchanges, and building an "international style" hospital.
